How the mini-docs get made
Deeper B-roll
ADAMA lets me know the recipients ahead of time. I quietly capture more in-depth B-roll during their studio visit. Nothing gets tipped off.
One session
Interview and B-roll in the same place, so the artist only gives up one block of time.
3 script options
After the interview, I send 3 script variations and ADAMA picks the direction before the edit starts.
Edit & deliver
Rough cut, then final cut (2 revision rounds). Delivered ready for the screening and online, with graded footage for the archive.
Price list
Itemized pricing by content category, and rates for anything outside the retainer.
How we'll work together
Scheduling
10 business days' notice for shoot dates. Shorter notice is fine when I'm available, at no extra charge.
Turnaround
Short-form and salon videos: 3 business days. Event and opening recaps: 5 business days. Nominee spotlights: 7 business days. Mini-docs: 3 weeks after the final shoot. Evergreen video: 2 weeks.
Revisions
2 rounds per deliverable, reviewed in the cut. Extra rounds at $85/hr.
Using your hours
Request by email. I confirm the hour estimate before starting, so nothing gets drawn down without your OK.
Footage
Finals and color-graded footage delivered by Dropbox, organized by date and program. I keep a backup for 90 days after delivery.
Usage rights
ADAMA has full rights to final exports and delivered color-graded footage across its digital platforms, marketing, campaigns and institutional materials. Editing project files are not included. I keep the right to show the work in my portfolio.
Additional costs
Standard camera, audio and lighting kit is included. Travel beyond 50 miles of Atlanta, a second shooter, specialty rentals or licensed music outside my library are quoted and approved in advance.
Unused hours
Unused hours roll over within the quarter and reset at quarter end.
Agreement
6-month initial term with a scope check at 90 days, then renews quarterly. Retainer invoiced on the 1st of each month, due within 15 days, or paid quarterly up front at 5% off. Flowers x Seeds projects invoiced on delivery. Either side can end the agreement with 30 days' written notice. The retainer stays payable through the notice period, and shoots already scheduled in that window still happen.
